Repairing Your Body Inside and Out

Go Figure @ Multi-Tasking Moms

Exercise is a key point to losing weight and living a healthy life, but it is just as important to keep a close watch what goes inside our body too. Of course eating healthy, drinking water and making the extra effort to take vitamins helps. But, sometimes you need that little extra something, a little boost so to say.

Don't worry, it's not a diet pill or anything like that. What I'm about to share with you is good for your overall heath....a good old fashion remedy with medicinal purposes.

It's Apple Cider Vinegar! It is wonderful for so many ailments; allergies, asthma, sinus infections, high cholesterol, blood pressure, acne AND weight loss!!! Yep, it helps breaks down the fat in our body!

I know some of you are thinking YUCK! NO WAY!!!! But I personally don't think it's that bad. And the with overall benefits of it, isn't it worth it?!

There are several different concoctions for apple cider vinegar, some put it in their tea, others drink it with juice, but my personal favorite it is:

2 Tbsp Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Tbsp Raw Honey
8 oz of cold water....no ice for me thank you

Once you start taking this you will feel GREAT! Honestly, I haven't done this since I moved so, to practice what I preach I better start repairing and Getting MY Body in Motion! I will join Melodye and all of you other out there and post my results as well.

.....Oh speaking of repairing, Ladies Tools Online is giving aways TWO stylish set of tools!!!

does using apple cider vinegar in my cooking have the same benefit? or do you lose it's qualities when you heat it?

Heidi Jo,

I can't say for sure, but my guess is it should be fine, people add it to hot water and tea and claim to get the same benefits from it....would you mind emailing me the recipe?

i've heard that some people drink the apple cider vinegar but i've never really heard of the benefits of doing so. why don't we hear more about this? and how often do you do this?

Lori said...

That's interesting. I will have to give the apple cider vinegar a try.
Anything to help.

I use apple cider vinegar to help aid in my heart burn or acid reflux, and YES it does work.... I have a book called Natural Health Remedies by Janet Maccaro, and it talks about things like this.

Just Mom said...

Just wondering how often you need to drink it to get the health benefits. Three times a day? Once a day?

Momma Roar said...

really? apple cider vinegar? just the word vinegar is enough to not want it close to my mouth without being in food! Maybe I'll get brave enough....one day....

Can children do this as well? Thank you so much for sharing it with us. And I am absolutely elated that I won the Leslie Sansone DVD!!!!!

Diana and Just Mom-
They suggest 1-3xs a day.

Karen-
As far as I know it is safe, like I said before, I haven't taken it since I've moved, but my 4yo loves to drink it.

I order it today bcz they don't sell Bragg's brand here, I can't wait to get it and start hopfully losing weight along with walking.

OH, I really want the pink. Then I wouldn't worry about my husband using mine! I do the ACV drink too. Only I use 1 TB of each and drink it twice a day. Sometimes 3x. You have to be sure it is organic apple cider vinegar with the "mother" in it. Also, rinse your mouth out well afterwards because the vinegar is very acidic and after long term use, it can affect the enamel on your teeth. It took some getting used to but now I find it a refreshing drink.

I think I'll have to try this, maybe in hot tea.

I have been drinking a glass a day now for a couple weeks and have gotten used to the taste. I use a packet of all natural STEVIA sweetener instead of the RAW honey. I like it hot or cold!! GREAT benefits!!

I'd like pink, please. :)

I used to have "my own" tool set. I wanted just the few basics I usually use, in a set place where I could find them, and clean. But because my husband's larger tool box was out in the shed, mine often got used around the house. Now it's all dirty and has a bunch of other clutter in there. Hopefully if I win this one I can keep it simple and clean and out away so I can find just what I need easily.

Thanks!
